Career Counseling
Career counseling services are available to students and college applicants who are interested in career exploration and career decision making. Occupational interests, transferable skills, and other factors that contribute to making informed training and employment decisions can be reviewed with the Student Services Counselor. Counseling is available to review progress and program issues and to make modifications as needed during the training process.
As students progress through their training, they continue to have access to faculty advisors and the Student Services Counselor to help them make the best educational and career choices for their goals. In addition, faculty advisors work with students to improve learning strategies, attitudes, or behaviors that will increase their success in their training programs or courses.
The Director of Student Services and the Student Services Counselor have a monthly meeting with the Utah Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to discuss the progress of all Voc-Rehab sponsored students.
